2021 Dalala Madline (se on se)

14.8cm x 21cm x 3cm

Drawing Installation made from drawing paper, drawing board, easel,  charcoal pen, plastic bag, string, wood, electric fan

Madline is a series of unrestrained drawings that explores processes of movement and an alternative means of documentation. The project medium is a simple assembly of a pen and a string as a drawing device to create dots and lines on paper. A fan is facing a wall and is switched on during the opening hours of the exhibition, blowing wind into an attached plastic bag that then causes a pencil to make a drawing on the drawing paper that is placed on a wooden easel. After the exhibition period of three weeks, a Madline appeared. The exhibition shows the on-going process of Madline drawing; the Madline drawing is done only when the exhibition ends.
